The world's largest solar energy storage projects got the government support
Australian authorities to support development of a place or for history of the world's biggest solar energy and energy storage projects.
over the weekend, the first minister of northern territory, Michael Gunner, confirmed that the northern territory government has approved a 10 gigawatts (gw) and 20 - solar energy 30 GWH storage large mixed project plan.
this program built in the north central Australia Tennant Creek project is expected to investment of $20 billion.
this program is a Singapore company SunCable brainchild, SunCable hopes to use the plan to support the Asian cities of Singapore national electric power system and limit of excessive dependence on imported gas.
the developers plan to build a 3800 km of high-voltage dc cable, used in the project most of the power transmission to Singapore, it can satisfy the power demand of Singapore 20%.
in addition, the company also plans to a large project into Australia has its own power grid power supply for the northern territory capital Darwin and other areas.
the first minister Gunner said in an interview with local media, will soon be talks with SunCable for project development agreement, development agreement will lay the foundation for environmental assessment and other work.
