ALLTOP Optoelectronics has successfully completed and delivered its core lighting project at the Enugu State motor park and surrounding areas in Nigeria, with 150W all-in-one solar LED street lights now officially in operation. Technology Empowerment: Tailored for African Operating Conditions
Addressing Nigeria's local climate characteristics and the real challenge of unstable power grids, the 150W solar street lights delivered by ALLTOP in this project feature highly reliable system configurations. Each light is equipped with 120 high-efficacy 3030 LED chips, with a color temperature of 6000K and luminous efficacy reaching 160 lumens per watt, ensuring clear and uniform road illumination.
In terms of the power supply system, the product is equipped with a 6V 120W monocrystalline silicon solar panel and a 3.2V 129AH lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery. The LiFePO₄ battery offers an ultra-long cycle life and excellent thermal stability, effectively reducing long-term maintenance costs. This configuration supports 6-8 hours of charging and 30-36 hours of continuous discharging, guaranteeing nighttime lighting even during extended periods of cloudy or rainy weather.
Intelligent Control: From "Lighting" to "Smart Lighting"
The technical highlight of this project lies in ALLTOP's self-developed "motion sensor + light control" dual-intelligent strategy. The street lights automatically adjust brightness based on pedestrian and vehicular traffic flow—"bright when people approach, dim when they leave"—maximizing energy savings while ensuring safety.
Additionally, the product adopts an integrated "wireless power distribution" design, combining the luminaire, solar panel, and energy storage system into a single unit. This design not only gives the product a sleek, modern appearance but also fundamentally eliminates safety hazards caused by cable aging, rodent damage, or wear, significantly enhancing installation convenience and long-term operational reliability.
