With the above advantages, the application of solar street lights is becoming more and more extensive, but no matter how good the product is, there is no problem at all. Therefore, the factory lighting of solar lights lists some common inspection and maintenance methods for solar street lights for reference. 1. Controller detection: The red light on the controller means it is charging, and the flashing red light means that the battery is fully charged, and the controller is charging with a small pulse current. Controller yellow light: indicates that the battery is depleted and cannot work normally. The light will turn on if the battery wire is disconnected and then reconnected. This is the controller detects that the battery has been charged for a day and the battery capacity has increased Yes, it is not the floating voltage of the battery (the pick-up voltage when the load is disconnected) 2. Solar panel (solar battery): If the connection of the solar panel is not very firm, it will not be able to charge normally, usually expressed as voltage (voltmeter test), The normal open circuit voltage is above 17.5V, but there is no current. This phenomenon is that the wires of the battery board are not connected properly (weak welding or weak joints in the welding area). The troubleshooting method can be directly after the black electrical cover behind the battery board is opened, and directly use the voltage and ammeter to check the data. If there is no current in the aluminum foil detection of the battery board directly, it means that the battery board has a problem and needs to be replaced. 3. Battery: The battery should be charged and discharged normally under normal conditions. If the voltage is detected to be above 12V, and the voltage drops in a short time after the lamp (load) is connected, the battery has been damaged. In addition, the battery has water in the waterproof case. It is caused by the short circuit of the positive and negative poles and the correct voltage cannot be detected. Usually, there will be a high voltage and a low voltage. The battery discharges too much due to the water entering and the voltage drops to 10V. At this time, the battery passes through a normal small current Normal use can be restored after cyclic charging and discharging. If it cannot be used normally, it needs to be replaced with a new one. After three years, the lead-acid battery will turn off the lights earlier or decrease in rainy days due to the decrease in capacity. This is normal at this time. 4. LED lamps: LED light sources cannot work normally when the battery voltage is normal. If the lamp does not light up, you can directly connect the positive and negative poles of the lamp to the positive and negative poles of the battery for testing. If the light source can light up, Indicates that the lamp is good, the controller does not supply power to the load, and the controller has a problem. This phenomenon is that the rainy day is long and the battery voltage is not enough. (The controller protects the battery from 11.3V-22.6V, as long as the battery is below When the voltage is lower, the controller will forcibly turn off the light) The lamp can work normally after the battery is fully charged and the voltage rises to 12V (24V). If the lamp is directly connected to the lamp, the lamp does not light up, indicating that the lamp has a problem. This phenomenon reflects that there is a problem with the circuit control component of the adjustment control lamp (large current, large voltage breakdown or component falling off), in this case, contact the factory in time to replace it with a new one. 5. The lamps are also bright during the day. If the lights are not turned off during the day, this situation means: 1 The solar panel does not charge the battery during the day. 2 The positive and negative poles of the controller connection are reversed. 3 There is a short circuit and the controller cannot detect current. 4 The controller has quality problems. 5 The circuit is damaged, because the solar light uses 'low-voltage wires'. Each cable is composed of many thin copper wires. When we installed again, we accidentally broke the copper wire in the insulating paint layer and the surface could not be seen, but at this time there was only voltage but no current, and the light did not light up within a few days after installation (the battery was not charged, The battery is exhausted). In addition, the insulating varnish layer of the wire was broken during installation, and the wire was conducted through the light pole, causing a short circuit. The battery board was short-circuited without charging, the battery short-circuited sparking, and the lamp was short-circuited and did not shine.
