But I don't know when to start, I don't know what the reason is, perhaps under the intentional or unintentional praise of some manufacturers, the concept of high energy saving has been quietly blurred or even replaced by high brightness: on the premise of the same cost, the higher the brightness of the display, the more energy-saving, the more value! In fact, in order to achieve a good energy-saving goal, excessive pursuit of high brightness is contrary to energy conservation. Next, let's analyze the potential relationship between high brightness and high energy saving. At present, the more popular 12000cd/m2 high-brightness LED lamps in China basically use large-size LED chips. This kind of large-size LED chip is widely adopted by most LED display screen manufacturers as the mainstream of the market, and there is no core technology at all. As we all know, the brightness of LED screen is proportional to the driving current of LED lamp. The brightness of 12000cd/m2 is nothing more than increasing the driving current of LED lamps. However, the physical characteristics of LED lamps will be inevitable: high-brightness LED lamps will inevitably be accompanied by high attenuation and low stability. High attenuation is not conducive to the long-term use requirements of LED display screen, but also becomes a congenital defect of excessive pursuit of high brightness, however, this congenital defect will damage the life span and Picture Effect of LED display screen all the time and multiplier effect. Taking the high-brightness PH 16mm display screen as an example, the technical parameters of this high-brightness LED lamp show that the brightness of 12000cd/m2 is 1. 5- Within 2 years, it will severely attenuate to 8000cd/m2, with an annual attenuation rate of more than 20. In fact, consumers can verify it in a very simple way, that is, to see the effect of several high-brightness display screens that have been running for more than 2 years and used for more than 12 hours a day. What is more serious is that after the brightness has dropped from 12000cd/m2 to 8000cd/m2, its high working current has not changed and its brightness attenuation speed will be doubled, as a result, the attenuation speed in the later period is accelerated several times to become a high attenuation display screen. Moreover, it exists in the vicious circle of brightness attenuation and cannot meet the requirements of long-term use. In order to avoid light pollution and meet the requirements of environmental protection regulations, the brightness standards used by LED display screens day and night are different. As we all know, reducing brightness will lose gray scale more or less. The greater the brightness adjustment, the greater the gray scale loss. Therefore, if the initial brightness value of the LED display screen during the day is set to 12000cd/m2, when the brightness is lowered to 800cd/m2 at night, the gray scale will be extremely lost, making the picture quality at night very poor; Either the brightness cannot be adjusted to the standard requirements for night use, resulting in severe light pollution. From this point of view, the excessive value of high brightness in the market does not mean technology in terms of LED display manufacturing technology, but a high current and high brightness in exchange for seriously sacrificing the service life of the display screen. On the contrary, it is inevitable that people are sloppy and stretched.
