Requirement Analysis of LED driving power supply development

The development of LED lighting has entered a new stage. The driving power supply of LED bulbs, the star of modern lighting tomorrow, has the following requirements :(1) High efficiency and low heat generation, because the power supply is usually built-in, and the heat emitted by the power supply and the LED chip will be superimposed together with the LED bubble beads. When the heat generation and loss are balanced, finally, the working temperature of the LED bulb is determined together, and the working temperature of the LED chip determines the service life of the LED bulb; (2) The power supply has a long service life. According to the barrel theory, a short board determines how much water the barrel can hold, while the power supply is the short board that determines the service life of the LED bulb, therefore, power supply is the key factor that determines the quality of LED bulbs. (3) Small Amplitude of current pulsation and small amplitude of current pulsation can not only improve the quality of lighting light, but also prolong the service life of components, thus prolonging the service life of LED bulbs. (4) High current pulsation frequency and high current pulsation frequency will not make people notice the stroboscopic light. Of course, a good LED bulb should have no large current pulsation. (5) The power factor is high. Improving the power factor in LED driving power supply can improve the power utilization efficiency of power grid equipment and reduce the invalid loss of power grid, thus improving the utilization efficiency of power grid. (6) The electrically isolated LED driving power supply is powered by the AC power grid with higher voltage, but the LED works at a lower safe voltage, and electrical isolation is required between the two to comply with safety regulations and avoid electric shock accidents. (7) Protection function, generally should have over temperature, over current and open circuit protection to comply with safety regulations, with multiple protection to avoid electric shock accidents. (8) Small size, because the general LED bulb power supply is an integrated built-in power supply, only small size is easy to install. (9) Low cost, low cost and low price will have good market performance. This is a common law in the Chinese market. It is difficult to change in the short term. LED lamp companies must adapt.
