Popularize LED lighting in public areas by the end of 2015

Shantou city, Guangdong province will popularize LED lighting in the public sector before the end of next year, including urban roads, public places, government agencies, state-owned enterprises and institutions and other financial or state-owned capital investment in the construction of lighting engineering. For newly-built lighting projects in the above fields, LED street lamps, courtyard lamps, landscape lamps and other lighting products shall be adopted. The original non-LED lighting products will be completed by the end of 2014. This is a practical move for the city to accelerate the development of people's livelihood technology and promote the application of energy-saving and environmental protection technologies.
