The domestic and foreign representatives attending the meeting discussed the development status of LED lighting industry, the opportunities faced by OLED lighting, and the hot issues concerned by LED industry chain policies, capital and other industry insiders. Cao Jianlin, vice minister of science and technology, Nakamura xiuji, inventor of Blu-ray, Deng Qingyun, father of OLED, and Wu Ling, chairman of the International Semiconductor Lighting Alliance and secretary general of the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Research and Development and Industry Alliance, attended the forum. Government support is the driving force of LED development since the birth of the world's first semiconductor light emitting diode in 1960s, LED lighting has the characteristics of long service life, energy saving, rich colors, safety, environmental protection, etc, known as the third revolution of human lighting. Countries all over the world are accelerating the pace of replacing traditional lighting with LED lighting. China's Ministry of Science and Technology started the semiconductor lighting project in 2003 to solve the key industrialization technologies urgently needed by the special lighting market at that time, this has made this emerging industry a big step forward. In the following ten years, the major projects of the semiconductor lighting project planned by the National 863 Plan of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan and the demonstration projects of ten cities and ten cities were launched one after another; The National Development and Reform Commission and other six ministries jointly issued 'opinions on semiconductor lighting energy-saving industry' and 'semiconductor lighting energy-saving industry planning'. this paper clearly expounds the development goals, main tasks, key projects and supporting measures of China's LED industry. Cao Jianlin pointed out that the central and local governments have adopted policy support, subsidies, demonstration projects, etc. , so that the large-scale application of semiconductor lighting products in China is at the forefront. Wu Ling said that in the past ten years, the government has continuously promoted the cooperation of various ministries and commissions from the macro level to create a good atmosphere for industrial development; Guide technology development with application demand, drive market cultivation with application demonstration project, and promote large-scale industrialization of technology; Financial subsidies to the consumer end and the expansion of the scope of application have enabled China's LED technology and industry to achieve considerable development. At present, the scale of China's semiconductor lighting industry has increased from 9 billion yuan in 2003 to 250 billion yuan now, with 19 listed companies; The luminous efficiency of semiconductor products has increased from 20lm/w to 140lm/w now, and the chip localization rate has reached 75. Industry challenges still exist. After ten years of development, China's LED industry has entered the fast lane of development. However, prosperity and crisis are always lurking in parallel. At present, this emerging industry is still facing great challenges. Participants believe that with the acceleration of LED market penetration rate, many enterprises have shifted their focus to competing for traditional lighting channels, even relying on low prices to compete for the market, making product homogenization competition very serious. Some companies use shoddy materials to make cheaper lamps, shoddy. Some enterprises, without any technical testing, rushed up and blindly followed suit, forming a phenomenon of overcapacity. The industry has overheated investment in different stages of development and different development links. The first two years were chips, and these two years were in the application field. In addition, from the technical level, there are some technical support problems that have not been solved, such as specifications, interfaces, etc; Enterprises do not know enough about the personalized development trend of future terminal products, and do not know how to quickly keep up with the development of informatization and digitalization. Wu Ling said that because the LED is controllable, people can use certain technical means to not only change the illuminant, but also achieve a higher level of lighting effect. This characteristic makes LED lighting provide us with infinite imagination space, and its development speed is beyond people's imagination. In the future, with the help of information technologies such as the Internet of Things, microelectronic optoelectronic integration will open an intelligent, controllable and digital lighting era, and the value of system services will increase.
