LED lighting industry draws on 'Four in One' international experience

The LED lighting industry has huge economic and social benefits. Countries around the world attach great importance to the research and development of LED. The US Department of Energy decided to support five major LED lighting projects in June 2006, namely: integrated LED floodlight for general lighting, phosphor system for solid-state lighting products, White LED with high light output rate based on phosphor, organic semiconductor lighting device structure, durable and efficient hole light emitting diode. The total investment of these five projects is 11 million dollars, and the capital source is mainly government investment, accounting for, while the other 30 funds are invested by enterprises responsible for project research and development. The responsible units of these projects are well-known enterprises or research institutes in this field, including Osram- Sivani, General Electric, Eastman Kodak and Stanford International Research Institute. When the LED industry rose, Chinese enterprises missed the opportunity to overcome major technical problems. Many core technologies were occupied by foreign enterprises, and Chinese related enterprises appeared to be somewhat passive. How to break through the technological weakness in China's LED industry requires the exploration and efforts of all parties in the market. Industrial policies have LED to huge economic and social benefits. Many countries have introduced relevant industrial support policies, mainly including special fiscal expenditures and preferential tax policies, in order to encourage the research and development and investment of LED industry, establish and perfect the LED industry system. Japan is the first country in the world to start the semiconductor lighting program. The 21st century light program began in 1998 with a planned budget of about 6 billion yen, the program is funded by the Ministry of Economic and Trade of Japan for the comprehensive development of new energy industry technology. In terms of tax incentives, Japan stipulates that in 2006- 2007 within two years, enterprises or organizations using LED lighting devices to replace incandescent lighting devices can obtain a tax reduction of 7 of the investment amount. The European Union has launched the Rainbow Program since 2000, which is organized by the executive research agency established by the European Union to promote the development of the high-brightness outdoor lighting market. China has also launched many related industrial support policies in recent years. Some insiders pointed out that the government should consider more about how to maximize the effectiveness of policy support and avoid waste of resources. Promote industry standardization. Industry standards help reduce transaction costs between buyers and sellers and create competitive advantages through leading specifications. A few years ago, the semiconductor lighting industry in Japan has standardized the style and measurement of LED products through the Japan Electric Light Manufacturing Association. In 2006, it integrated 72 LED related manufacturers in Japan and established the LED lighting Promotion Association, the integration and formulation of standards have promoted the healthy and sustainable development of the industry. In recent years, China has attached great importance to the revision of LED lighting standards. The construction speed of the standard system is very fast, and the lack of standards has been greatly improved. However, both the standard maker and the inspection quality supervision department have almost the same feeling: the implementation of the standards that have been issued is not optimistic, moreover, the existing product standards and testing method standards are not perfect, and there are still many problems in real operation. To cultivate consumers' environmental protection concept, how to make LED lighting products get consumers' approval? In addition to support at the government policy level, the supplier level reduces the price of products through technological innovation, and the cultivation of consumer environmental protection concepts is also very important. Japan is quite innovative in LED's Environmental Protection Publicity. Its core is to educate the people from reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and it is also linked to people's living and personal health.
