The other is the LUMENIX brand LED bulb. The creepage distance between the live parts and the touchable parts is too small, causing the touchable parts to be charged and causing electric shock. Both products do not meet the requirements of EU Low Voltage Directive and European related standard EN 60598. Importers have taken measures to delist products and recall them from consumers. It is reported that in the first half of this year alone, the European Commission's non-food rapid warning system has recalled more than 10 LED lamps in China. Jiangsu is an important production base for China's led industry, with an output value of 50 billion yuan, accounting for of the country's total. Jiangsu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau reminds that at present, users will have higher and higher requirements for the quality and function of LED lamps, and it is difficult for low-cost and low-quality products to form unique customers, let alone obtain sustained and considerable profits, the integration speed of LED lamp industry is accelerating. Manufacturers should timely understand the standards of LED lamps in developed countries in Europe and the United States, and effectively improve product quality from product design, raw material procurement, assembly and production. At the same time, strengthen the contact with inspection and quarantine departments and industry associations, seriously study the quality problems of foreign recalled products, draw inferences from one instance, grasp the key links of quality, and turn blind pursuit of low prices into focusing on the products themselves, enhance the competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing in the international market.
