LED companies go to the Korean market to save uncertainty1

Recently, it has been reported on the Internet that LED lamps made in China have quickly become hot items in major shopping malls and supermarkets in South Korea due to their high quality and low price, causing concern among small and medium-sized enterprises in South Korea. It is understood that many Chinese LED lamps in the Korean market are currently promoted under the banner of half-price concessions. In the face of the huge price offensive of Chinese LED lamps, South Korea's domestic products seem to be neglected and are gradually emerging. According to the person in charge of a lighting company in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, many large lighting companies are importing products from China, which undoubtedly has a big impact on small and medium-sized enterprises. The market price of LED lamps manufactured by small and medium-sized enterprises is generally around 7,000 won, while LED lamps in large supermarkets such as Lotte Mart and E-Mart are less than 5,000 won. For Chinese LED enterprises with strong willingness to enter the international market, this undoubtedly means a good time to open up the Korean market. However, the so-called 'knowing the enemy and knowing each other' is a must. Although Chinese products have shown certain advantages in the Korean market, the background and current situation of the development of the Korean market over the years is a compulsory course before enterprises enter. Looking at the LED market in South Korea, the electronics industry in South Korea is developed, and the powerful giant enterprises such as Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are firmly occupying the small Korean local market. In the field of LED lighting, South Korea set a 15/30 target of popularizing LED lighting in 2006 and began to fully introduce LED lighting. It is the first to replace traffic lights, outdoor displays and billboards with LED products, so many enterprises regard them as a good opportunity to expand their business and have set foot in the LED lighting market.
