[Introduction] Street lamps are an important part of urban lighting. Traditional street lamps often use high-pressure sodium lamps. The low light efficiency of high-pressure sodium lamps as a whole leads to a huge waste of energy. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop new street lamps with high efficiency, energy saving, long service life, high color rendering index and environmental protection for urban lighting energy conservation. LEDLight, as the light source of LED street lamp, has many advantages compared with traditional street lamp light source. First, LEDLight is a semiconductor diode with a very long life. When the luminous flux decays to 80, its lifetime reaches 25000 hours. The life of metal halide lamps is 6000 ~ 12000 hours, the life of high pressure sodium lamp is 12000 hours. LED street lamps have a longer life. Second, the basic structure of LEDLight is an electroluminescent semiconductor material, which is placed on a shelf with leads and then sealed with epoxy resin around to protect the internal core wire, therefore, LEDLight has good seismic performance. Third, the light color of white LED tube is better than that of high pressure sodium lamp. At the visual level between China and Afghanistan, human eyes are easier to distinguish things in high color temperature environment than in low color temperature environment. The color rendering of white LEDLight is also much better than that of high-pressure sodium lamp. The color rendering index of high-pressure sodium lamp is only 20 to the right and left, while that of white LEDLight can reach 65 ~ 80. LED street lamps have better color rendering. Fourth, LEDLight can achieve more dimming function. Due to the large working range of LEDLight, its light output is proportional to the working current, so the current can be reduced to dimming. In addition, since frequent switching of LEDLight does not cause much damage to it, the dimming of LEDLight can also be obtained by adjusting the pulse width. By adjusting the duty cycle and working frequency of the voltage, the luminous intensity of the LED tube can be effectively adjusted. LED street lamps are more efficient and convenient.
