Guangdong LED industry output value exceeded 210 billion in 2013
A few days ago, the Guangdong provincial promotion and application of LED lighting products was held in Foshan. The reporter was informed that at present, Guangdong province has promoted the use of more than 800 thousand LED street lamps, more than 2. 1 million indoor lamps, and more than 20 thousand kilometers of application sections. Only one street lamp saves nearly 1 billion kWh of electricity. According to the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department, in 2012, the output value of the province's LED industry was 217 billion yuan, with about 4000 LED research and development and production enterprises, driving nearly 3 million jobs. The output value and application scale continue to rank first in the country, with a market share of more than 70, indicating that LED industry has developed into a new pillar industry in Guangdong.
