Japan's Ministry of Economy, trade and industry announced the decree on amending some contents of the implementation order of the electrical supplies safety law on July 1, 2011. According to the new regulations of the decree, LED bulbs and LED electric lamps that enter the Japanese market will be subject to the circular PSE logo from July 1, 2012. This marks that LED lights and LED lamps have become the subject of the electrical supplies safety law.
