Semiconductor Lighting Technology Evaluation alliance and China semiconductor lighting/LED industry and application alliance jointly issued 4 LED lighting technology standards, filling the gap in China's LED lighting standards. The four standards are 'specification classification of non-directional Self-ballasted LED lamps for general lighting', 'performance requirements of non-directional Self-ballasted LED lamps for general lighting', 'safety requirements of double-ended LED lamps' and 'performance requirements of double-ended LED lamps'. Among them, 'specification classification of non-directional Self-ballasted LED lamps for general lighting', as an important basic standard for semiconductor lighting industry, has been adopted by the International Electrotechnical Commission of the International Standards Organization. This classification standard is the first time in the world to use lumens to express lighting effects instead of traditional tiles. As a new concept for dividing LED lamp specifications, it can better reflect the characteristics and advantages of LED lamps such as high efficiency and energy saving. According to reports, China is a major producer of LED lighting, with about 90% of its output, and its products are widely sold to the international market. In recent years, LED lighting equipment has been widely used in roads, schools, shopping malls and hotels in many cities in China.
