Case analysis: JS Bach indoor hall under architects

Under zaha hadid architects recently completed at Manchester art gallery of indoor concert hall. Installed at home playing johann Sebastian Bach's music, is now part of the Manchester international festival. Vortex fabric cover indoor steel structure, the space of sculpture and visual reaction of the complex relationship of Bach's harmony.

this case from under architects: designed to improve the diversity of Bach's works through the coordination of the structure of the integration of formal logic. A single continuous fabric hovering around itself, create the cocoon layer space, make the liquidity of performers and audience in close space.

the band itself contains a translucent fabric diaphragm joints connecting the internal steel structure suspended from the ceiling. Undulate surface of the fabric appearance changing rhythm, stretching across the internal structure. This highly stretched between the shell of the appearance, on the outside of the ribbons and blowing effect of soft fabric same with inside of the band. Light acrylic acoustic panel hanging over the stage, with sound reflection and transmission, and the rest of the vision is difficult to detect the internal fabric diaphragm.
