Accelerate the popularization of LED lighting. South Korea introduced policies to strengthen the LED industry. The South Korean government actively promoted energy-saving lighting and formulated a series of policies to foster and strengthen the LED industry, accelerating the popularization of LED lighting in South Korea. And proposed to increase the market share of LEDs from .% to 5% each year. South Korea will expand the use of LED lighting equipment centered on cities. As of the end of the year, of the approximately 10,000 lighting fixtures in public institutions in Seoul, South Korea,% of them have been replaced with LED lighting fixtures, and it is planned to replace all lighting fixtures in Seoul public institutions with LEDs by the year before. In addition, the relevant Korean railway departments have spent hundreds of millions of won to replace the energy-saving lighting fixtures of vehicles with LEDs before the end of the year, and then replace the remaining vehicles in phases. Due to price factors, the current penetration rate of ordinary Korean households is only %. To this end, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy of South Korea plans to provide subsidies to purchasers of LED lighting for chicken farms, residential houses, and shopping streets, and to provide financing called 'ESCO' for large-scale private buildings. The Korean Government, Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Agency has planned to invest more than one trillion won in the field of chip development years ago. It also plans to increase research and development investment in new areas of the LED lighting industry to ensure that Korea has global superior technology. The Korean government and companies have actively formulated policies, but there are still four problems in expanding the LED industry. This is the guarantee of talents, materials, reliability, and the relationship between small and medium-sized enterprises and large enterprises.
