Dubai power company and government residential units have joined forces to promote the lamp replacement plan. This project mainly replaces traditional lamps with LED bulbs. In cooperation with local energy company Etihad, Dubai power company is expected to replace 500 buildings in areas such as Al Barsha, Al Warqa and Oud Metha, replacing traditional bulbs with 160 thousand LED bulbs. This replacement plan mainly hopes to reduce energy consumption and raise public awareness of the use of LED bulbs. Dubai power company assigned 6 teams to change. At the same time, the plan will also enable Dubai power company to integrate into the community in terms of creating renewable energy, reducing household electricity bills and protecting the environment. This time Dubai power company aims to provide about 2,000 LED bulbs and solar panels for 160 thousand families. Dubai is expected to transform into a low-carbon city by 2050. However, changing LED bulbs can reduce energy consumption and support Dubai's 2030 integration into energy plan, reducing carbon emissions by 30 by 2030.
