They can measure various parameters in the environment, and can also digitize daily work. The core of this change is machine-to-machine (M2M) communication, automatic data exchange between networked devices or with the control center.
Smart city solutions are considered to be the key to reducing energy and maintenance costs, complying with climate protection regulations and providing better services to citizens. Smart street lights play a central role in this regard. In fact, in many cities, street lamp problems account for about 20% of citizens' complaints, and intelligent systems can automate the maintenance process.
