At present commonly used type main circuit topology are step-down circuit ( 巴克) Converter, booster circuit ( 提高) Converter, cukor circuit ( Cuk) Converter, etc. General photovoltaic battery output voltage fluctuation is bigger, and Buck converter and Boost converter only decompression or booster, the photovoltaic cells cannot entirely within the confines of a big job on maximum power point, thus cause the loss of system efficiency. At the same time, Buck converter input current ripple is larger, the LED street lamp, if the input without a storage capacitor will make the system work in intermittent state, resulting in a photovoltaic cell output current intermittent, not in the best working state; And the Boost converter output current ripple is larger, with the current of battery charging, is not conducive to the service life of the battery; Cuk converter has the step-up and step-down function at the same time, applying the Cuk converter light volt charging system controller, can achieve maximum power point tracking on a wide range, beneficial to the improvement of the system efficiency. Therefore, often choose Cuk converter charging as the main circuit of the controller.
