Shantou city, Guangdong province, will popularize LED lighting in public areas by the end of next year, including urban roads, public places, government agencies, state-owned enterprises and institutions and other areas of lighting projects invested and constructed by finance or state-owned capital. For newly-built lighting projects in the above fields, lighting products such as LED street lamps, courtyard lamps and landscape lamps shall be adopted; The original non-LED lighting products will be completed in batches by the end of 2014.
