GE Lighting accuses Lighting Science of infringing its LED patent, US court rejected

Recently, Lighting Science Group ( Lighting Science Group Corporation, LSG) It was announced that the District Court of Northern Ohio in the United States granted LSG's summary judgment motion, declared some patents of GE Lighting Company invalid, and rejected GE Lighting's patent infringement claim against LSG. In the lawsuit, GE Lighting accused six LED manufacturers including LSG of infringing their two LED patents, namely, U. S. patent number 6787999, named LED modular light source product patent, and U. S. patent number 6799864, patent for high-power LED power supply group for Spotlight Module. Lsg ceo Ed Bednarcik said: We are very pleased that the court has made such a judgment, which is consistent with our position that our products do not infringe GE lighting patents. The company has more than 300 patents, and we will continue to use our patent portfolio to resist unwarranted infringement claims and provide customers with more innovative lighting products.
