Cost-effective smart street lamp lighting drive solution

It is an indisputable reality that intelligence has become the development trend of LED lighting. International lighting manufacturers have repeatedly deployed, and domestic smart street lamp manufacturers and businesses have emerged like mountains and plains, and 'smart street lamp' shopping malls have become a battleground for military experts. At the 6th 'Seeing Vision and Creating Value' 2014 Macroblock Lighting Design Forum, He Yirui, the director of lighting products at Macroblock, announced the theme of 'High Cost-Effective Smart Street Lamp Driving Solution'. The theme revolves around 'the advantages of LED lamp dimming; different applications; different solutions for different applications' and other aspects, which fully interprets Macroblock's philosophy in smart street light control system solutions.

'LED lights have necessary dimming, which is the most intuitive way to complete the secondary energy saving of LED lighting products.' He Yirui marked. This sentence is definitely 100% correct, but it is undeniable that LED products are now the most suitable products for dimming. Combining the characteristics of LED products such as high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection, and long life, and then increasing its advantages in dimming, this is the first step for LED companies to take 'intelligence'.

In the smart street lamp control system, there are three advantages of lamp dimming, the first: the cost advantage, whether it is from the perspective of electricity bills or the lifespan, can be intuitively expressed. For example, for parking lot lighting, there will be no obvious changes in monthly electricity consumption and electricity bills before any energy-saving renovations are made. But assuming that the 34-watt fluorescent tube is replaced with a 17-watt LED tube, the energy saving ratio can reach 50%. Second: Condition control, light color (quantity) is changed according to the user's mood (whether it is used or not). When no one is 20% brightness, when someone is 100% brightness, one minute of every three minutes is full brightness, and the other two minutes are low brightness levels. Lamps with dimming function can save 60% of others. Therefore, replacing the lamps with active induction dimming function, its energy saving ratio may be higher than 70%-80%. Third: Extend the life span. The light decay of the lamp source is related to temperature, and the life span is related to the temperature. After dimming reduces the brightness, the life span of the power supply and the light source has an opportunity to increase. Assuming that this dimming skill is used in a large area, it is necessary to use the effect of initiative.

The biggest difference between LED products and traditional lamps is that LEDs are cold light sources, which can cause light decay problems when the temperature is relatively high. The solution of some Japanese manufacturers is to use a temperature measuring wire to measure the temperature of the lamp tube. When the lamp source is inside the enclosed type and the temperature reaches a certain point, the signal brought back by this temperature measuring wire will start the current dimming setting and decrease. Brightness output, so this temperature will gradually return to the originally reserved equilibrium temperature point.

In the parking scheme of the parking lot, the traditional fluorescent light is combined with the sensor. When no one is using it, it is turned off. When someone is using it, the light is turned on and the device is fully illuminated. The time when not in use is energy-saving, but if there is a certain distance from the sensor, the sensitivity is poor.

Now that wireless sensors have come out, cost has become a major obstacle to the promotion of wireless sensors. From a long-term perspective, assuming that the sensor in the parking lot is far away from the target, the sensor is arranged, and the traditional sensor is usually wired from the beginning, which invisibly increases the labor cost, and the cost of the wireless sensor exceeds the cost. Discrimination is more than manpower to do things from scratch, so wireless sensors can be prioritized in the previous plan. 'High cost-effective products are the first choice. If you just consider the price blindly, then the value created will be lost.' He Yirui noted.

Assuming that dimming can bring more convenience to our lives, how can customers have the most intuitive perception? Assuming that users use smart street lights and lamps with dimming functions, what are the differences? What kind of comprehension? In the future, what other innovations will smart street lights have, we will wait and see.
